Artists Come out of the Wilderness
15 years ago and still relevant for now:
I prophesy into the coming year 2006 and beyond: Come forth out of the many hidden valleys, and the wilderness, all you creatives. Stand upon the mountains, and hold up the banner of the colours of your art. You are worth it, and your art has value no matter what has been said about you or your artistry. Don’t despise your talent and gift, or bury it anymore. It’s your resurrection time!
Plant it as it were on the side of the hills in your town, just like the Hollywood sign, overlooking the cities of the world where all can see what you have, including the angels that watch in your city, who will do your bidding as heirs of Christ. “It is time to make known the creative manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in heavenly places (Ephesians 3:10).
This is the hour and the year of renewed spiritual acceleration, of Holy Spirit inspired creative possibilities. It is time to run in faith and fulfil your call, as prophets of the arts. Love your art, don’t despise it! Love what you have been made to be, and stay true to that. New creative teams are coming together; gather them, watch God do miracles and provide abundant provision as you step into Kingdom power to run with the dream the Lord has given you. 2006 and beyond will see the increase of the release of His fame in the earth at greater levels. The glorious mountain of the Lord will be established and the world will start running into it.
Many artists are now ready; the journey, the cave, the wilderness has prepared you for this time. The spiritual warfare will be great, but you will have the power and character to contend because of the journey. Be obedient to the Holy Spirit, don’t compromise your life and call; ‘wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He will strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord’ (Psalm 24:14)!
The Great Search
Read the latest magazines or social media news feed, and you’ll find many stories of rich, or famous people, with annulled marriages, relationship issues, drug and alcohol abuse. The list is endless, and we are bombarded with it every day.
There is a great search in the creative worlds, beyond the fame, the glory of the silver screen, the lights, and the stage. It’s the prophetic hour for craftsmen and craftswomen to stand up, and hold the banner of the Lord to show The Way (John 14:6), and put the hands of lost and floundering souls, into the hands of God The Divine Artist.
Our work is to do the will of the Father; right now it is to call you out of the wilderness. I am a voice crying out for you with a father’s heart. I know the pain and what it’s actually like, but you can make it, trust me. The time is now!
Now
We are now at the latter end of 2021, post Covid pandemic, yet it still rages and affects us all after a year and a half. It is time for artists called of God to invade the world. I release the breath of the Spirit to your dry bones, your vision, your ideas, your passion, and all of your art; don’t hold back, it is time for you to do it now. Dreams and visions may have died, but it is time to renew them now and go forward!
“And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.” Ezekiel 37:3-5.

Prophecy: It is time for the fathering and the mothering leaders of the arts to gather around large tables, for symposiums and summits, to bring the myriad of resources and talent together to complete the dreams.
Arise Dream Machines! Arise brothers in arms; it is time for the creative rivers to become a harmonious flood! Let the prophets of the arts come together, bring all the prophets out from the caves.
The apostles in the Church have been saying, “Where are the prophets?” It’s the hour to be in synergy with leaders and all that the five-fold ministry represents. You may not have found your place to fit, but you will.
Move forward in faith, in what you know, God will honour your momentum and show you the right path. We make the plans but He lights the way. It is time to turn the world upside down in every way that we can for Jesus (Acts 17:6). Short is the season we have left. Stephen Bennett
In early 1997 I heard a sound of gathering, marching and alignment happening in the spirit. It was later that year in the UK, that I directed the video film ‘Wembley Stadium Champion of the World’ (watch clips on awesomecitytv You Tube), as part of the team working with Noel Richards, Martin Smith and Delirious? Matt Redman and many others.
The gathering sound I heard in that year was ahead of time back then. In the last 24 years, we have started to see all that we dreamed of begin to accelerate. The river of God is flowing fast now in this new era of world and Church history forward from 2021. It is the hour to dive in, get involved, take care of business, and jump into destiny. It is time to ride the big wave; a Tsunami of God’s Spirit is coming for the Church and God’s creative people all over planet earth.
It’s now nearly late 2021, nearly 15 years since this prophetic article was first published. There is no doubt that what I heard in the spirit then, and the trumpet sound that the Wembley event became in 97, was for these days now. So… Get ready!
