Revelation: The Terrible and the Good - Pt 8

Revelation: The Terrible and the Good - Pt 8

By Stephen Bennett

(Rev: Chapter 15) Feb 1 / 2022

Blood; I’d never seen so much blood. 200 square miles of human redness, spurting like fountains from bodies cut and sliced from the earth, swathes of blood filling valleys, drenching horses, ruining saddles. Giant feet stomping and squishing, killing and crushing, in such intense fury with never to be repeated complete annihilation (Rev 14:19-20).

I John, was caught up to heaven, and the Spirit asked me to write a book of what I see (Rev 1:11,19). The writing hasn’t been too hard, but images of death, mayhem, immense change, and adjusting to a crazy wild heaven, plays over and over in your mind. I feel for the people who will read this; it’s overwhelming. I may need some time out when all is done, to process everything, as my old mental state is heavy today. As I’ve mentioned, I understand why Prophet Daniel was sick for days (Daniel 8:27).

Although I’m really feeling all this heavily as a human, I am aware I’m inside some sort of protective canopy here; it ministers to me all the time. On the throne, the eyes of the Lord are also always upon me. I now sense a new change in the room; it feels like music, as happened before. The Lamb opened His leather note book, smiled at me, then suddenly, from behind the giant horizontal rainbow, hovering around the stunning iridescent emerald green throne, a long grey haired man appeared.

I caught my breath, recognising him straightaway. It was Moses, just as I’d seen him on the mountain with Peter, James my brother, Jesus and Elijah (Math 17:1-3). He was still shiny like the sun, wearing white as before. It’s surreal; I am excited as a child. I know good is about to happen. I need it…

Great and Marvelous Good Music

Suddenly, ‘I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous; seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.’ (Rev 15:1). My hope was for more music; I hear some harps in the distance, but my eyes are fixed on a new group of seven large angels, holding the last seven plagues of judgement to make the wrath of God complete. I thought this was done, and I’d seen it all with the blood-fest. Maybe, I just can’t watch anymore devastation; I am sitting in the space where the puffy cloud was, and decided not to move. Slowly but surely, I can feel the grace and power of a song emerging in the distance with many voices. Then… bang! A great light shone all over the vast throne room…

‘And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass having harps of God(Rev 15:2). There is a great multitude, a different company than those previously in Rev 7:9-17, as these are given harps. I immediately knew, they are the Endurer’s; the non compliant’s from the beast-resistance movement, who trust God and didn’t give-in to a corrupt blasphemous world system. I had wondered what happened to them after they were killed in all the mayhem of the tribulation…

Angels are still giving out the Lord’s harps to many of the people, from a massive instrument storeroom. From what I hear, it’s next to the treasury of snow, as it helps keep the straight neck harps cool (Job 38:22). The angels gave one each, touched their heads with a wing, and suddenly these overcomer’s could play. Thousands of transparent, glowing blue sheets of music appeared, hovering in mid-air before them. The last minute tuning and tweaking of strings finished; then the sea of glass went silent.

I looked over to the Lord on the throne, and Moses was standing next to Him, they were both in excited conversation. I felt I was back on that high mountain again (Math 17:1-3). Moses then turned to me, waved, and from his right hand he side-flicked something to me like a card, across the throne room. It arrived in front of me hovering before my face. It was a blue song sheet; a special music piece written specifically for the eternal winners on the crystalline sea. The writers credit at the bottom read; ‘The song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb’ (Rev 15:3). I looked up, and Moses was gesturing to me to get ready.

I was completely amazed; Moses had come up with a song idea in heaven.  The Lord may have asked him to start it, being busy and everything, and then Moses took it to the Lord for an appropriate completion, and they finished it together as a gift for these people. ‘What a colab!’ I thought, a bit like me and James building a new boat together.

Moses is an epic songwriter. I remembered reading his big 18 verse song, that poured out of him after Israel went through the red sea (Exodus 15). And also that 43 verse mega song written before he died, sending Israel off across the Jordan (Deuteronomy 32). I then also understood the Lord’s leather bound note book; He’s always writing songs, Jesus Himself is the song of heaven. The great light dimmed, the glass sea looked magical with all the red and orange flames of fire dotted across it, then the song began…

“Great and marvellous are Your works

Lord God Almighty!

Just and true are Your ways

O King of the saints!

Who shall not fear You O Lord,

and glorify Your name?

For You alone are holy.

For all the nations shall come

and worship before You

For Your judgements have been manifested” (Rev 15:3-4)

The prelude warm up, to the final judgements of completing the wrath of God, is an end-time song written by the mighty Moses and the Lord Himself; how cool! It is a prophetic decree of the astonishing true and marvellous ways of King Jesus of the Nations, who alone is to be glorified, for all His nations will eventually turn and worship Him only, and not the short-lived beast (Psalm 22:27). In the psychosis of global deception, people will all realise Jesus Christ the Son is actually the true God and fear Him, as all power belongs to Him (Matt 24:30). The judgements are now prophetically manifest; declared in the song, and about to be fulfilled.

It was a beautiful sight looking across the holy glory of the crystalline glass sea (Rev 4:6), with thousands of warm red flames peppered through the multitudes, declaring the judgements coming from his holiness and righteous purposes. The stars twinkling above and all the planets seemed to dance in their galaxies. Moses and Jesus sang with full hearts smiling at each other, for these are the souls who’s resurrection and reward is to reign with Jesus for a thousand years (Rev 20:4-6). What a gift! It is a moment I will never ever forget, everything just felt… perfect.

Seven Angels and Golden Bowls

The angels with the seven last plagues had disappeared during the song; it wasn’t their moment. After the song repeated many times, Moses stood silently with the Lord; they both shined white like the sun, watching the new children finish their song. The music climaxed with a deep droning low sound. It seemed to fill heaven, and then fade away, as the angels escorted the great multitude off the glass sea into the distance. I sighed.

‘After these things I looked, and behold the temple of the testimony in heaven was opened. And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands,’ (Rev 15:6). I John thought, ‘Wow this is new.’ The plague angels, had gone back into the open-for-all-to-see, Holy of Holies of the heavenly temple, usually the place only for High Priests, but this was heaven. They had a change of clothes during the song, because they emerged looking incredibly well dressed; pure in righteousness of linen, bright and golden in the glory of God. These angels must have been special, doing the duties of our High Priest Jesus (Hebrews 3:1, 6:20).

On earth, Moses built the temple of the testimony (Exodus 32:15, Acts 7:44), where God’s cloud of protection hovered above it (Numbers 10:11). It was cared for by the appointed Levite musicians. The two tablets of commandments that God finger wrote were kept there (Numbers 1:50), and also the sprouting rods with almonds that were a testimony against the rebels (Numbers 17:8:10).

It made sense to me; it was appropriate they got changed there, as Moses was actually present, and he was obviously being very honoured by the Lord also at this time, whilst satan’s tribulation rebels on earth are being judged. The Lamb on the throne is shining pure white now after the song, and His glory and power is increasing and filling the vast throne room. It was palpable. Moses stood by respectfully observing this great historic occasion.

‘Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.’  (Rev 15:7). I John, had seen the creatures preparing and stacking the heavy golden bowls beside the throne, as the Lord blessed each one in their purpose. Then the living creature gave the bowls one by one to the plague angels who stood at attention with wings expanded before their King. These seven angels hold the manifest judgements of the Great and Marvellous song with the seven last plagues. Each one will bring final judgement on satan’s political system and the power of the beast. It was a sombre moment, as the bowls would inflict the perishing for ever and ever.

I John, was now able to understand. Number seven means completion, and everything I had seen to this point was part of the seven seals (Rev: 6:1-17; 8:1). Seal seven, included all seven trumpets (Rev 8:1-9:21; 11:15-19). These last seven golden bowls of the completion, are part of the proclamation of the judgement in the sound of the seventh trumpet.

To be honest, I’m not super excited about the wounding and devastation I perceive will happen with the angels and the bowls. But, it is the final, strongest outpouring of righteous anger and wrath, ever to be seen, fulfilling God’s judgements. When these seven golden bowls are done, it will precede the massive global return of Jesus Christ (number 777), when he leaves this place to go back to the earth (Rev 19). Jesus is… the completion of all things.

Smokin’ Temple

‘The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed’ (Rev 15:8). Like the ancient days of old, it’s all connected. Moses again, could not enter the temple either, only watch like the rest of us here, as the beautiful white bright glory of the Lamb filled the temple creating the cloud of smoke that protects and covers (Exodus 40:34-35).

It is such a holy moment, a time where all of heaven reflects on the immense connected journey of the history of God on earth and in heaven. Even though these last judgements were next level terrible, they are to be released from the holiest of holy places, now brought to this historic point, so very close to the culmination of all things.

I John, thought of the coming doom, for all those on earth who continue in their blind blasphemy, ignoring the great and marvellous sovereignty, righteousness, and holiness of God, we all just witnessed. The little yellow sign on the doors to the temple are now flipped to ‘closed.’ We all had to wait until the golden bowls were poured out and done. I really wanted a chat with Moses but I was suddenly extremely tired…

I put down my writing stick and parchments on the floor where the puffy cloud of reaping had been, and curled up on a beautiful thick soft cloth and pillow someone had left there. Further up on my side of the reveal space, I could see Moses doing the same thing; imagine that, such humility! I was tempted to get up and talk to the great man while I had the opportunity, but… not meant to be. In the warmth of the Lamb’s shining glorious light, I fell asleep…

“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers” 1 Peter 4:7.

‘He (Jesus) who testifies to these things says,“Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”’ Rev 22:20.

‘And He (Jesus) said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Mark 4:9.

PRAYER OF FAITH: The Call to give your life to Jesus Christ.

No matter where you are in your Christian walk, Jesus is with you; in your triumphs and trials, to the end! If you have never known God; know this;

“Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world (ages)” Amen’ Matthew 28:20. ’But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come Matthew 24:13-14.

Pray this prayer from your heart and your spirit will come alive to God, for with him there is hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

“My Father in heaven, I give you my life, I repent of all my sin, recreate me brand new. I give you my heart. Fill me Lord Jesus Christ with Your Holy Spirit. I believe You died for me on the cross, and by Your shed blood, you washed away my sins once and for all. Raise me from my deadness of my life to live a new life, just like you Jesus, when you were raised from the dead; I believe you did that. Make my spirit reborn, and let me come alive as well, filled with Your Holy Spirit.”

“I believe I belong to you Lord. Help me to know you well, teach me Your ways, that I become all that I am meant to be. Help me to love and find love. I thank you Lord that you will always be with me.”

If you have genuinely prayed this prayer to Jesus Christ, in your seeking of God, or you’re coming back to Him, DM instagram or FB or email. Talk to other Christians you may know, and seek to find a Church where you can grow.
