Revelation: The Terrible and the Good - Pt 2

‘After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!”’ Revelation 18:1-2.
The Terrible - Babylon
The physical city of Babylon, is in present-day Iraq about 55 miles south of Baghdad. It was founded more than 4,000 years ago (2300 B.C. by the ancient Akkadian-speaking people of southern Mesopotamia), as a small port town on the Euphrates River. It grew into one of the largest cities of the ancient world. It was founded by king Nimrod (Genesis 10:9), but the city strongly rejected the One True God.
Babylon in the Bible is also a demonic spiritual construct that represents the whole world, and the ever controlling system we live in now. Jesus spoke of satan as, ‘the ruler (god) of this world’ John 14:30. The state of the world in the end-times, is a place rife with demons and foul spirits, a prison for everything unclean. The world literally becomes a prison, where humanity is locked down, shut down and slowed down by demonic forces working through governments, and the merchants of corporate business; unthinkable a few years ago. Everywhere becomes some form of a ‘restricted prison environment.’
Jesus came ‘to destroy the works of the devil’ (1 John 3:8). In His day a large part of the ministry was to heal the sick and to cast out demons. There were many demons in the Jewish world through the oppression of the Roman government system and in the Jewish synagogues. Like in the end-times that we are seeing now, the world is still ‘a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’ (Rev 18:2). If we are being changed to be like Jesus, then we still have much to do like He did.
Then an angel came from heaven to declare how great this Babylonic system of the world has fallen.
‘Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. And no craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore. And the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. And the light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore. And the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.”’ Revelation 18:21-23.
Through the prophetic theatre seen by the Apostle John, the productive arts, music and their trade as we have known it, will eventually cease, along with all the busyness of commerce in this present ‘world system of Babylon’ (Rev Chap 18). And the world will mourn! Of course! It’s everything mankind has lived for instead of their Creator. God will bring it to pass, in fact it’s happening already! It’s overwhelming to consider, but nonetheless the truth, and is essential to know in these last days.
The Terrible - Global Sorcery
Heaven’s theatre, reveals the merchants are the great and influential men of the earth. Elites who make billion dollar fortunes from wheeling and dealing in all manner of business and trade; be it war, oil, stocks, real-estate, food production, computer companies, phone communications, airlines, drugs, medicines or a jungle of myriad other products and services. Revelation tells us these global traders deceived the nations through sorcery! 2020 - 2021, this is now becoming completely obvious, in the current global narrative surrounding human health and its control!
Sorcery in the original Greek, is the word pharmakeia. It mean’s magic, sorcery, witchcraft, enchantment, drugs or medication, often found in connection with some form of idolatry. (see Galatians 5:20, Exodus 7:11,22, Exodus 8:18, Isaiah 47:9, and Rev 18:23). The biblical meaning of sorcery, is the use of power gained from the assistance or control of evil spirits, especially for divining: necromancy. It is pharmakeia where we get the word pharmacy, directly from Medieval Latin pharmacia, from the greek pharmakeia. NOTE: It is “a healing or harmful medicine, a healing or poisonous herb; a drug, poisonous or magic potion; a dye, raw material for physical or chemical processing.”
The end-time deception that is beginning to propel the human race toward the terrible consequences of taking the Mark of the Beast (where you can’t buy or sell without it, Rev 13:16-17), and world control through a demonic one world government, is primarily through the evil spirits at work in the world of pharma. It’s no shock we are seeing that now, and the global deception is becoming increasingly evident. At time of writing, the God given goodness and courage that is inside everybody in every nation, is beginning to awaken and rise up in millions of people, and they are saying, “NO! Enough is enough, we are making a stand against divisiveness, evil control, loss of life, work and freedom!”
God’s words are written on every human heart, ‘not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.’ (2 Corinthians 3:3); and the truth of those words are rising up to reveal themselves.
‘But these two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day: the loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness because of the multitude of your sorceries, for the great abundance of your enchantments.’ Isaiah 47:9. The sorcery of the merchants of pharmakeia are coming for the young children of the world, but the ‘law of the mothers’ (Proverbs 1:8, 6:20), the intelligent critical thinking warrior mothers, are rising up and refusing to follow the enforcement!
What days we now live in, and we must all wake up! We are about to see a great global awakening of humanity on many levels, and in the spirit toward God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, who only has all the answers. You may say, ‘this is all BS, it surely cannot be,’ as you look at nature and the beauty in the world, the love, innocence, and hope in our children, and the wonderful things we build and create; but the Word of God is the only precedent of Truth we have. Get ready!
The Terrible - Four Horseman
We now continue on from blog Part 1 of this series, and go back to Revelation chapters 4 and 5. After the incredibly good heavenly visions, and the loud singing of billions of animals, creatures, angels, elders, and people worshiping Jesus, writer John saw the unfurling of the ancient scroll that was ‘written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals’ (Rev 5:1). Those great end-time seals were broken open, and the movie in heaven’s theatre turned terrible and frightening (Rev chap 6).
Affectionately known as the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse; John witnessed a devastating, eccentric, creatively weird scene; the fisherman’s mind was blown. There were four coloured horses, one white, red, black and a pale horse that looked like death (never seen an all red horse before)! One of the strange four living creatures around the throne; ones who looked like ‘a lion, a calf, one with a face like a man, and a flying eagle… each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within, and they never rested’ (Rev 4:7-8), encouraged John with ‘a voice like thunder, “Come and see”’ (Rev 6:1). Again, super loud!
In the movies, the ‘ones’ who sat upon those horses, are often depicted as ghostly, living dead, riding with intent, wearing dark dirty ragged clothes, large hoods and wide sleeves, and no discernible faces. These are for real; and they all had assignments on earth! Scary soundtrack…
The white horse spectre guy had a bow and a crown, and ‘went out conquering and to conquer.’ (Rev 6:2); to cause war. He apparently didn’t have any arrows, but with his authority and power caused armies on earth to gather and war. The red horse spectre had a monstrous sword, and ‘was granted to take peace from the earth, and that people would kill one another’ (Rev 6:4), “Oh great; all we need!”
The black horse spectre was the hyper inflation, economist shaker, and the make everything expensive guy (hmm that’s been on the news). His ‘weapon’ was ‘a pair of scales in his hand’ (Rev 6:5-6). Food supply chains were the issue, as John saw a hand-full of wheat costing a workers day’s wages; the supply scales were way out of balance. Oh, and the dude couldn’t harm the oil and the wine; wonder why! Oil and fuel has tripled in price; makes lots money! Alcohol consumption is through the roof… ‘the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication’ (Rev 17:2). Jezebel hard at work…
Horse four was aptly pale, and his rider’s name ‘was Death, and Hades (Hell), followed with him.’ (Rev 6:8). These equestrian heavy characters, worked in cahoots; they both had very big power, ‘over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.’ The job description; create hell on earth at all costs! This terrible, is all coming at the end of the age; the hors d’oeuvres have already started. John’s eyes were rimming with a flow of tears; he much preferred the universal concert singing.

More Terrible - The Cry of the Martyrs
Well, the horses had been dealt with, their assignments way less than inspiring, and the theatre of crazy dreams, was moving right along. Seal five: John found out there is an altar in the throne room, and under it he saw millions of souls who had been killed ‘for the word of God and for the testimony which they held’ (Rev 6:9). Heaven knows how they fitted underneath it, but this was the unusual world of the Spirit. John was shocked at so many souls; uncompromising faith that had cost them their lives. Not a popular message to fill a church building, but nonetheless the truth of millions of Christians killed for believing. Having waited there for centuries, they knew it must be near the end and suddenly they all cried out to the Lord with a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” (Rev 6:10). They weren’t happy about it.
The answer came from a heavenly voice, ‘rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed’ (Rev 6:11). ‘Not long to go guys, a few more still have to die.’ Patience was still their present virtue. The martyrs killed, were a specific number destined and appointed for death. We were all shocked pre-pandemic, when martyrdom appeared on TV, as certain terrorists were chopping peoples heads off, and raping, robbing, killing and destroying, men women and children; for a god, they thought! ‘Hmm… terrible.’ The killing and persecution around the world continues.
Martyr blessing time: all of a sudden thousands of angels appeared, and thousands of silver pallets holding beautiful white robes in renewable clear bags, were arriving across the crystal sea, as far as the eye could comprehend. The ‘White Robe Manufacturing Department’ had been working a seriously long time, and now the hour had come for the designers reveal. ‘And a white robe was given to each of them…’ (Rev 6:11). Patience had settled on the martyrs like woolly blankets; they smiled, slipping into their new, pure righteous robes, swapping with one another if the sizes varied.
Thoughts of judgement, avenging, blood, and all they had been through, were momentarily laid aside, as they engaged excitedly with the other resting dead’s they had never spoken to before; it was get ready time, you could feel it in the air. Their actions in heaven were being felt in the hearts of those listening on earth. The angels all grinned, pointing there wings upward in respect. The judgement avenging gig, was Universal Creator God Father’s - in just a little while future; the newly robed faithful did not have to worry, their deaths were never in vain.
Even More Terrible - End-time Cosmic Disturbance
The scene and atmosphere completely changed with the cracking open of the sixth seal. The voices of the excited martyrs in their new clothes faded in the distance. The theatre changed to the other side of the extremely vast throne room. Suddenly everything shook violently, the rag doll sways of a global angry earthquake, face planted John to the floor as he looked up sideways at a world in chaos.
The whole earth was rocking to and fro, reeling like a drunken man, (Isaiah 24:19-20); violently broken, splitting and shaken. Mother nature quaking with the heavy human transgression upon her, ready to fall and never rise again. The warmth of the golden sun that baked bodies on beaches, suddenly turned black, dark and menacing, and the man in the moon turned to the colour of blood red like the dust around him.
Mr Moon Head looked up and saw millions of stars falling to earth like asteroids, as figs from a tree shaken in the wind. Indeed a new wind was roaring through the Universe (Rev 6:13). John’s face was still stuck to the floor.
‘Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place’ (Rev 6:14). The cameras zoomed in, and he saw world leaders, kings and queens, the great merchants and money men, the rich, poor and slaves, the commanders of vast armies in the grip of fear not see on earth before (Rev 6:16).
They had abandoned their lives and posts, now fearful intrepid explorers looking for caves and big rocks to hide amongst in every national park and wilderness in every nation, as the towers of hundreds of cities fell to the ground (Isaiah 30:25). They all cried, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him (Jesus) who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Rev 6:16-17).
Church Bulletin 2021: “Come one, come all this Sunday, and be serviced by our services. Bring your children, we have games for them to play and keep them occupied while we adults do the important stuff. The new marble foyer is now finished, and parking is still free. Make sure you wear your 4 masks (you are not allowed to sing, as we were told to stop, so we did. Maybe sing at home beforehand?). Finally, please pay your tithes, even though most of you have lost your jobs, and are becoming ill; we here understand and do pray. The pastors message this week is, The Great Day of His Wrath. Bring your friends, it will be a positive spin, and if the weather is good, we will have a BBQ at lunch, please bring meat and salads for a happy Sabbath Sunday!”
Sunday came and the church was empty. The pastor sat all alone in his clean cream safari suit on the marble entry stairs, even his wife had gone. All that was left was his products. He wondered what went wrong.

If you are shaken by the terrible, know this powerful end-time decree from Jesus your Saviour on the mountain in Galilee, just prior to Him ascending into heaven. ‘Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.’ Matthew 28:18-20.

PRAYER OF FAITH: The Call to give your life to Jesus Christ.
No matter where you are in your Christian walk, Jesus is with you; in your triumphs and trials, to the end! If you have never known God; know this;
“Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world (ages)” Amen’ Matthew 28:20. ’But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come’ Matthew 24:13-14.
Pray this prayer from your heart and your spirit will come alive to God, for with him there is hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
“My Father in heaven, I give you my life, I repent of all my sin, recreate me brand new. I give you my heart. Fill me Lord Jesus Christ with Your Holy Spirit. I believe You died for me on the cross, and by Your shed blood, you washed away my sins once and for all. Raise me from my deadness of my life to live a new life, just like you Jesus, when you were raised from the dead; I believe you did that. Make my spirit reborn, and let me come alive too filled with Your Holy Spirit.”
“I believe I belong to you Lord. Help me to know you well, teach me Your ways, that I become all that I am meant to be. Help me to love and find love. I thank you Lord that you will always be with me.”
